The multi-award winning Observatory has been a huge success and very popular amongst the resident artists and the many thousands of vistors in its two locations at Winchester Science and Lymington Keyhaven Nature Reserve.

 

After the Observatory finishes its time at Lymington in April 2016 we are hoping to move it to two more locations in Hampshire - potentially Mottisfont Abbey, Romsey and the New Forest.  We have already identified 6 fantastic artsist of varying disciplines to take up residence in The Observatory for 2 months each.  Their residencies will be accompanied by a public engagement programme of talks, school workshops and events.

 

We are aiming to raise £10,000 of match funding from donations that will supplement an application to Arts Council England.  Your donation really does matter and will help us to continue this innovative, award winning project for another 12 months and introduce our resident artists to a growing audience.
